- No server-side scheduling or tracking
Preferences
- Language, calculation method, and settings are stored locally
- Not accessible to us
Audio & Media (Athan)
- All audio recordings are stored completely locally within the app.
- No audio data is streamed from the internet and no connection is made to external media servers.
- Our special and heartfelt thanks go to Imam Omar Al Kazabri, whose moving recitation brings the Athan in this app to life. The audio recordings are used with his kind and explicit permission. We ask Allah to accept this from him as a Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) and reward him immensely.
Location Data
NourAthan may request access to your location to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction.
Location is processed only on your device
We do not store, transmit, or log your location
You can use manual location selection instead
Location access is used only while the app is in use, unless explicitly permitted otherwise by the user.
No continuous background location tracking is performed.
Location data is not persisted beyond what is necessary for on-device calculations.

Support Communication
If you contact us by email, we process your message only to respond to your request.
- Support communication is not used for marketing
- Support messages are not used for profiling
- Support messages are not shared with third parties except where necessary to operate email infrastructure
Data Storage
App data is stored locally on your device
We do not operate user accounts
We do not provide cloud-based user storage for app data
Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you may have rights such as:

- Correction or deletion
- Restriction of processing
- Filing a complaint with a supervisory authority
Since we do not store personal data on our servers for normal app usage, our ability to act on certain requests may be limited.
